Mike is a born and bred Utahn, a roller coaster enthusiast, and the reluctant (but loving) owner of three dogs. His lifelong experience in Utah has fostered a passion for creating well-designed buildings for the communities and people of Utah. He is excited to return to Process Studio as a full-time employee after having spent a successful internship with them as a student.
By age 16, Mike had set his sights on becoming an architect and had a clearly articulated roadmap for how to accomplish that dream. After graduating high school and serving two years as a missionary in Australia, he began that path with an associate degree from Utah Valley University. He then moved to Salt Lake City to obtain his Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture from the University of Utah in 2019 and 2021, respectively. He also added a Graduate Certificate in Urban Design to his degree, which was accomplished in part through a thesis project focused on civic master planning and a community resource center. Mike is currently pursuing licensure under the insightful guidance of both the firm’s architects.
