Located on a lakeside property south of Ithaca, New York, this project is the first of several family residences to be located on the 200+ acre site. This house will function as the main garage, home office, and 1-bedroom living unit for guests and extended family. Designed with referenced to the Prairie School Style, the massing is conceived as simple rectangles with low-sloping hip roofs and deep overhangs. A small Entry Foyer separates the Living spaces from the Garages. Glazing along the south and east facades make passive solar capture possible.
